"Thank you for the tremendous hospitality in hosting our 2011 NAAE Region 3 Conference. All of us in attendance were sure glad you were able to accomadate our group at the "last minute" due to the severe flooding in Minot. Thanks for everything everyone did to make us feel welcome." -Iowa Ag Ed Association
"In visiting with Terry at the Gladstone, he said that the Gladstone and Jamestown is a great place to have the training session. He had good words to say about your staff and the rooms. He wants to come back next year and hopes that he will have a large enough grant to double the size of the participants." -Clarice Liechty
"I recently stayed at the Gladstone Inn and Suites on my way to visit relatives in Canada. We did not plan on stopping in Jamestown but due to a snowstorm we had no choice.
My husband and I had stopped at 3 different motels before coming to Gladstone. The staff was more than obliged to help us. Compared to the other 3 motels. The staff was friendly, more than willing to help, compassionate they went above and beyond the call of duty."
"I was in Jamestown on January, 21 for a conference. I was one of the 3 speakers they had scheduled. I called the group hosting the conference for a referral as where to stay, they suggested the Gladstone. I was very happy with my room, the meeting facilities and the restaurant. I was able to mix business with pleasure, I really enjoyed the hot tub in my room."
"I live in hotels and visit my home on weekends. I was a little leery when i pulled up to the Gladstone. One never knows what to expect with an "independent hotel."
The Gladstone was delightful. Many of the rooms have a theme. One room I saw had a baseball theme. From the bedspreads to the decorations on the wall and ceiling, there I was smack-dab in-the-middle of the baseball game! Another room was a throwback to a visit to Grandma's country home. It was a most pleasant experience.
Very friendly staff. Very clean property.
Would I stay at the Gladstone again? Absolutely yes. When in Jamestown, you should, too!" -Dennis Conroy, Chicago
"Because we booked at the wedding group discount rate, we stayed in a standard poolside room. The room was clean, it had two queen beds, a mini fridge and having easy access to the indoor pool was great. My only regret is that we didn't book a "speciality room." The Gladstone has several rooms that come with a theme. I don't know all of their names, but they varied from "the lavendar room" to "the outdoor room." I think staying in one of those rooms would have been fun.
The hotel is right in downtown Jamestown across from the Sports Hall of Fame and it was convenient for us since it was also walking distance from the St. James Basicilia -- a beautiful church! We didn't have the opportunity to eat at the restaurant in the hotel, however we did stop for coffee at the Railroad Cafe in the mall across the street. That cafe had the best brownies and the nicest servers!
If we ever end up in Jamestown again, we will be staying at the Gladstone Inn." -Couple from San Diego, California
"The Gladstone was a good hotel in the center of Jamestown. Rooms were well maintained and clean, with good food in the restaurant at reasonable prices. Wireless internet actually worked in all the rooms as advertised." - visitor from Rochester, Mn
"We want to say MANY THANKS to all of you at The Gladstone Inn for making our car show a success. Because of you and your employees going above and beyond it really did make our show." -Jamestown Classic Car Club
"We would like to thank you for the wonderful room we had while visiting from the east coast. We had been on the go since 2:15 am, traveling from the east coast, flying into Minneapolis, visiting Rochester and then making our way to Jamestown. Checking into the hotel after 11pm was seamless and the young lady at the front desk was very helpful. The room was so much more than we anticipated! The beds were so comfortable and we all enjoyed a much needed great night sleep." -Visitors from Connecticut
"We just wanted to send you a note and thank you for the wonderful food and all your help during the planning stage and reception for our daughter's wedding. We have received so many complements on the meal. It was delicious! Tell your mom her rolls were great, too! You have a wonderful venue for events. Thanks again for everything you did (and staff too!) to make her day special." -B & K
